Samantha Totoni
ROCIS Public Health Fellow | Pittsburgh, PA
Sam is a Ph.D. student at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health, studying Environmental and Occupational Health. Her focus on Community Based Participatory Research led her to ROCIS. She is excited to be part of ROCIS’s unique approach providing people with tools for investigating their air quality and the resources to experiment with mitigation.
Contributions to ROCIS: Sam assists in the coordination and implementation of the Low Cost Monitoring Project cohorts. One of her key contributions is researching health-related questions that come in from our LCMP cohort participants and translating complicated technical information into accessible takeaways. Sam also analyzed the pre/post particle data from the Clairton Air FilterProject.
