Rob Busher
ROCIS Project Coordinator | Portland, ME
Rob is a long-time lover of the environment, interested in the human interactions with our natural resources. Rob joined ROCIS via a 2017 SCA Sustainability Fellowship. From Boston—by way of Rhode Island, Canada, and Pittsburgh—he has held previous positions with various federal and state governmental agencies as well as non-profit organizations. ROCIS is the first initiative-based program Rob has worked for.
Contributions to ROCIS: Rob applies his skills to optimize existing programs. This includes analyzing and fine-tuning aspects of the Low Cost Monitoring Project, data management, participant outreach and equipment logistics and maintenance. Rob’s other ROCIS responsibilities include social media support, website maintenance, and lead generation. Perhaps most importantly, Rob is our main troubleshooter, always willing to tackle a new technical challenge
