Meet the Team
Emily Dale
ROCIS Low Cost Monitoring Program Coordinator | Claysville, PA
Emily is a southwestern PA native. She studied at La Trobe University in Bundoora, Australia, and earned a Bachelor of Nursing. She is fascinated by public health and excited about the primary prevention (focusing more time, money, and effort on preventing rather than curing illness) possibilities ROCIS affords. After returning to PA with her growing family, she has been part of various community groups – including president of the local MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) chapter and a board member for Cornerstone Care, a community FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center) serving Fayette, Greene, and Washington Counties in southwestern PA. Emily worked for Teen Outreach doing childbirth and parenting education with teen parents from 2017-2019. Emily is now an ICEA-certified childbirth educator and also teaches community education at a suburban Pittsburgh hospital.
ROCIS Contributions: As coordinator of the ROCIS Low Cost Monitoring Project, Emily maintains and deploys a fleet of 100s of monitors to LCMP participants for every cohort. She is also responsible for running cohort meetings and maintaining communication with participants.
