The ROCIS mission to reduce the impact of exterior environmental pollution and create healthy indoor environments is accomplished one house at a time. Whenever a family joins the Low Cost Monitoring Project or an HVAC professional learns the ins and outs of continuous filtration, we’re one step closer to our goal.

Help us spread the word about our programs and guides so that more people can enjoy a safer home environment.

LCMP Invitation Email

Hi {Name}, I thought you might be interested in this project from ROCIS—it’s all about improving indoor air quality.

They look at air pollution produced inside the house as well as pollution that comes in from outside.

Starting {insert dates of the upcoming webinars}, ROCIS is hosting a new monitoring cohort as part of their Low Cost Monitoring Project. LCMP participants are usually homeowners or residents in Southwestern PA who are curious about their family’s exposure to pollution within their homes. There is no cost to participants.

ROCIS loans you a set of low-cost monitors, which you use for the next month to measure small particles, radon, carbon dioxide, and more.

There are sessions for participants to learn how to interpret the data, and ROCIS also suggests interventions that can help reduce exposure to pollution inside your home.

Participation is totally free, but participants are expected to attend virtual meetings and report their data back to ROCIS for the duration of their cohort.

The LCMP has been running since 2015, and something like 500 people have participated in it. If you’re interested, I’d encourage you to check out their website: rocis.org/low-cost-monitoring-project
