Matt Oriente

ROCIS Data Analyst | Portland, ME

Ever since Matt began volunteering at his local park at the age of 16, he knew he wanted to pursue a career making a positive impact on both people and the environment. Following his undergraduate work at the University of New Hampshire studying business and sustainability, Matt was a Falk Fellow in Chatham University’s Masters of Sustainability. He is the co-founder of HydroPhos Solutions, where he assists in the agricultural and go-to-market strategies for developing novel phosphorus recovery methods via biochar. When the sun sets, he enjoys playing saxophone and cooking large dinners for his friends and family.

ROCIS Contributions: Matt primarily works with Linda, Naveena, and Greg helping with all things data-related, using R for statistical analysis and data visualization. He is currently assisting in a variety of projects including the Value of Clean Air, LCMP data cleaning, ROCIS Benchmarking Tool, and ROCIS 10-year performance study. Matt was a proud LCMP participant in Cohort 64!
